Sage Cream Sauce
A delicious sage infused béchamel sauce.

- 3/4 cup white onion - finely diced
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt - more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 2 1/2 cups milk of choice
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
In a sauce pan, add onion and butter and sauté until onion starts to soften.
Sprinkle flour, salt, pepper and sage over the butter mixture and stir.
Whisk in the milk. cream and Worcestershire sauce bring mixture to a boil.
Boil mixture until it thickens.
Taste and add more salt if desired.
