  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoons milk or water
  • 1/2 teaspoon flavoring – optional if using oils do 3-4 drops, taste and adjust to preference
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese – softened
  • 1/4 cup salted butter – room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoons milk or water
  • Marshmallow Crème Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow crème – softened
  • 1/4 cup salted butter – room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoons milk or water – more to thin frosting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven top 350 F.
  • Add the cake mix, eggs and oil to a mixing bowl and mix until a thick dough forms, you don’t want any powder still visible.
  • Roll into roughly 1 1/2 inch balls, you are going to make 30 cookies so they will be small.
  • Place 15 cookie dough balls on each cookie sheet, these don’t spread a lot so 15 on a sheet will be fine.
  • Use you palm to press these down into little discs.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes or until the tops look cooked and they will probably have a little cracking on the tops.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes so they don’t break apart.
  • Move to a cooling wrack and let them cool completely before adding the frosting.
  • Make the frosting my adding all ingredients together and blending until smooth, adding a little more milk or water if frosting is too thick.
  • Use a spoon, butter knife or rubber spatula to frost the backside of the cookie and then place another cookie on top to make a Oreo sandwich cookie.
  • Enjoy!
