Sesame Chicken Lettuce Cups

These sesame chicken lettuce cups are delicious, super easy to make, they come together in about 15 minutes, prep to finish and they are healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 3 cloves or 1 heaping tablespoon garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger- minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Three green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • Pinch of salt - to taste
  • 1 head butter lettuce

Instructions

  • Prepare your lettuce leaves by washing and separating into individual lettuce leaves for the cups, set aside.
  • In a pan, add sesame oil, garlic, ginger and ground chicken.
  • Cook until chicken looks mostly cooked through.
  • Add soy sauce, honey, green onions, sesame seeds, rice vinegar and a pinch of salt to mix and cook until chicken is coated in sauce and cooked all of the way through.
  • Remove from heat and serve in lettuce cups.
  • Enjoy!
