Ingredients
For Flatbread
1/3cupwater
3/4teaspoondry active yeast
1/2teaspoonsugar
1/2teaspoonsalt
3/4cupflour – more for rolling dough out
2teaspoonsolive oil
For Toppings
1/4cupshredded gouda or cheddar cheese
2tablespoonsSwiss cheese
1/3cupsliced ham
2eggs
salt & pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 F.
In a mixing bowl, combine water, yeast, sugar, salt, flour and olive oil and mix until a dough forms.
Knead for 2 minutes, then let dough rest for 2 minutes.
Roll dough into a rectangle at your desired thickness, thinner crust for a crisper flatbread and thicker for a softer flatbread.
Bake flatbread for 5 minutes then remove from oven and add the shredded cheese, ham, eggs and salt and pepper.
Place back into oven and bake another 7-9 minutes or until the egg is cooked to your liking. If you want the top of the egg cooked then broil the top for 1-2 minutes.
