Blackberry Lime Frosting

This simple blackberry lime frosting is delicious on any cake and especially on my blackberry lime sour cream cake.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon blackberry flavoring optional
  • 1/4 cup blackberries - chopped

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add butter, powdered sugar, salt, sour cream, lime juice, blackberry flavoring (optional) and blackberries and blend together until frosting is smooth and mixed well.
  • Add more powdered sugar for a thicker frosting or more milk for a thinner glaze.
  • Frosting cooled cake and enjoy.
