Smokey Bacon Deviled Eggs

Smokey and fun take on the traditional deviled egg.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs - hard boiled - hard boiled, sliced in half lengthwise with yolks removed
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • bacon bits or crumbles for on top

Instructions

  • To hard boil eggs:
  • Place eggs in a pot that has a lid.
  • Fill with warm water.
  • Bring to a boil uncovered, and then place lid on top.
  • Turn heat off and leave for 10 minutes for perfect and easy to peel hard boiled eggs.
  • Cool eggs down.
  • To make the smokey bacon deviled eggs:
  • Slice in half lengthwise and remove yolks and put them in a separate bowl.
  • Add mayo, smoked paprika and spicy brown mustard to egg yolks and mash together and stir until smooth.
  • Spoon or pipe mixture into egg centers.
  • Top with bacon.
  • Serve chilled.
