Stuffed Manicotti

Ingredients

  • 1 package manicotti noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese - divided

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Boil manicotti noodles until they are al dente.
  • In a pan, add ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt and cook until beef is all cooked.
  • Add 1-1/2 cups spaghetti sauce and mix into meat.
  • Add cottage cheese and 1/2 of the cheddar and mix again.
  • Spoon filling into each manicotti shell. You can fill a large ziplock bag with the meat mixture and snip a big end off one of the corners and pipe the mixture into the shells to make stuffing them easier.
  • Place the stuffed noodles in a glass baking dish and cover with spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Serve.
