Oven Baked Butternut Squash Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 large butternut squash - skinned and cut into batons
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 F.
  • Skin and prepare the butternut squash.
  • Mix the egg and milk in one bowl.
  • In another bowl combine flour and spices.
  • Toss the squash in the egg mixture then toss in the flour mixture.
  • Toss in Italian bread crumbs.
  • Place on a lined cookie sheet and bake for 40 minutes.
