Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Easy and tasty chocolate buttercream frosting.
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter - softened
- 7 pounds cups powdered sugar - just shy of 2
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 - 1/2 cup milk - Depending on the thickness desired. I frost my cakes with 1/2 cup thickness but my sandwich cookies use 1/3 cup.
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer with a whisk attachment. It can also be blended by hand with a whisk.
