Plum BBQ Sauce
Sweet and savory barbecue sauce

Servings: 7 cups
- 2 cups chopped plums
- 1 cup chopped onion.
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Dash or two of hot sauce more if you want it spicier
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 cup brown sugar (depends how ripe your plums are mine were still pretty tart)., more or less
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Cook onions and garlic until they start to soften. Add plums and all other ingredients.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer on low until plums are soft. About 20 minutes.
Use immersion blender and blend until smooth. If you don't have one, let sauce cool then blend in blender until smooth.
