Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a mixing bowl, add butter and sugar and cream until blended.
Add salt, vanilla and flour and mix until a cookie dough forms.
Grease tart shell.
Roll out the dough to desired thickness and place in a tart shell, press into shell as best you can.
Take a knife and run it around the edge so you have a smooth edge.
Place parchment paper on the inside of the shell and fill with dried beans or baking stones to prevent the tart shell from shrinking.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the beans and parchment paper and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
Let the shell cool thoroughly.
Mix together the pudding and pour into cooled tart shell.
Top with fresh fruit, let pudding set and enjoy!
