Air fried healthy bloomin' onion
The healthy version of the bloomin' onion.

Ingredients

large yellow onion

almond flour

Instructions
Slice onion across the top and peel it, keeping the bottom attached.
Cut the onion into wedges but don't cut all of the way through to the bottom, leave it attached so it looks like a blossom.

In a bowl, add egg, milk and hot sauce.
In another bowl, add almond flour, salt, paprika, and flour and mix.
Dip the onion into the egg mixture, spooning the mixture into the onion if you need to.
Dip the onion in the flour mixture, spooning the mixture between each petal so all of the onion is coated.
Place in air fryer and spray with some olive oil.
Bake on 300 for 20 minutes then turn heat up to 400 for 10 minutes.
