Apricot BBQ Sauce
Sweet, tangy and delicious barbecue sauce, perfect with pork, chicken or beef!

Servings: 2 cups
- 4 cups apricots - pits removed
- 1/2 cup sugar - this can be reduced if you don't want the sauce as sweet
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper - add more if you want this sauce spicy
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
If using an immersion blender then add all ingredients to a large pot and blend together.
If using a blender, add apricots, sugar, molasses and vinegar to a blender and blend until smooth, then return to a pot and add all other ingredients.
Bring mixture to a boil, stirring frequently then simmer for 10 minutes or until mixture reduces to desired thickness.
use over favorite meats or as dipping sauce.
