Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

This healthy chocolate chia seed pudding is a great breakfast or snack that will help hit your chocolaty sugar cravings without leaving you feeling guilty. If you are a chia seed fan you will love this, if you are not, this may take a try or two to make you a fan. When I first made chia seed pudding I had a hard time with the texture but now I love it. You just have to accept chia seeds for what they are.

What you need to make chocolate chia seed pudding:

makes 8 ounces of chocolate chia seed pudding

1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons truvia (stevia and sugar can blend)
2 Tablespoons cocao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat your almond milk in the microwave or on the stove top until it is hot.
  2. Add truvia, cocao powder and vanilla extract and mix until blended.
  3. Add chia seeds and whisk so the seeds don’t clump up.
  4. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Enjoy!
