Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Mix together your walnut pieces, flour, sugar and salt.
Add cold butter chunks to the flour mixture and cut in with a pastry cutter, fork or your hands until pea or larger sized butter pieces are found.
Add in the cold water as you mix until dough comes together into a ball.
Roll out dough into a large circle or rectangle (personal preference on the shape) and lay on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Add 1 tablespoon of honey then brie, with or without the rind on, it's fine to eat but if you don't like it then trim it off.
Add the other tablespoon of honey to the top of the brie round followed by the sliced pear, walnuts and pinch of salt.
Fold dough around the sides of the cheese and pears.
Bake for 25 minutes or until dough gets slightly golden or feels cooked when pressed on and cheese gets nice and melted.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with warm honey.
Enjoy!
