Chocolate Chip Scones with Vanilla Frosting

chocolate chips - semi- sweet
milk or dark will work

vanilla frosting:

cup
salted butter - softened
1/4
cup
milk

powdered sugar
1 pound bag

teaspoon
vanilla extract
pinch
of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl and mix together.
Add cold butter into flour and mix it into flour so you have pebble sized chunks throughout the mixture.
Add the chocolate chips or chunks to the mixture and mix them into flour mixture.
Add the milk and stir until dough forms and comes together.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a baking sheet. lightly grease parchment with non-stick spray.
Divide dough into 12 balls and gently press them down, into a disc or round.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Remove from oven and let them cool mostly, they can be kind of warm when you frost them.
In a bowl, mix together the butter, milk, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt and blend until smooth.
Frost each scone and enjoy!
