Teriyaki Steak and Vegetable Bowls

Teriyaki grilled steak with vegetables, rice and teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless steak - any steak cut will work
  • 10 cloves garlic – minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh ginger – minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Optional vegetables:
  • Broccoli florets
  • Squash
  • Snow Peas
  • Carrots
  • Bok Choy
  • Mushrooms
  • Green Onions
  • Water Chestnuts
  • Baby Corn
  • Sesame Seeds
  • For the bowl:
  • Rice or Cauliflower rice – cooked enough for 6 people

Instructions

  • Instructions for teriyaki steak:
  • Marinate meat for at least 30 minutes in sauce.
  • Grill on 450 F. or cook steak in cast iron or skillet of choice to desired doneness, I like mine medium rare.
  • Instructions for vegetables:
  • Prep and sauté up vegetables with a little oil, sesame oil is great with them and a good sprinkle of salt and pepper.
