jar marinara sauce

water - I use the marinara sauce jar to measure this

milk - fill the marinara jar half full to measure

sugar - more or less to taste

salt - start with 1/2 teaspoon then taste at the end and adjust. This amount will vary with different marinara sauces.

grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Add marinara sauce, water, milk, salt and sugar to a pot and bring to a boil.
Mix together the cornstarch and water in a small bowl and whisk slurry into simmering soup.
Stir in the grated parmesan, remove from heat and serve.
