The addition of dulce de leche to these rice crispy treats makes them extra indulgent and delicious!

Ingredients
1/2cupsalted butter- melted
20ouncesmarshmallowstwo bags
13.5ouncecan of dulce de leche
1/2teaspoonsalt - more for on top if you like a little more salt
12cupsrice crispies or cereal of choice
24ouncesmilk chocolate chips - optional
1cupmelting chocolates - optional
sprinkles - optional
Instructions
In a large microwave safe bowl, add melted butter and marshmallows.
Microwave 1 minutes or until the marshmallows are softened.
Stir in the dulce de leche and salt.
Add rice crispies or cereal of choice and stir until well combined.
Place on parchment paper lined or greased cookie sheet and press out onto the pan.
If you like a little extra salt, sprinkle the top of the cereal treats with salt.
If using chocolate on top, melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish in 30 second increments, stirring after each 30 seconds until chocolate is melted.
Spread melted milk chocolate on top of the cereal treats.
Heat the melting chocolate in the same way you did the milk chocolate, in 30 second increments and stirring until it is melted.
Drizzle the melting chocolates over the top of the milk chocolate then place sprinkles on top.
Let the chocolate cool and set, then cut and serve.
