Blueberry and Basil Mocktail
A beautiful blend of basil, blueberry and lemon in alcohol free mocktail.

Servings: 8 ounces
- 4 leaves fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons blueberry syrup
- 2 lemon wedges - one for juicing and adding to a shaker and one for garnish
- pinch of sugar
- 3/4 cup tonic water - divided
- 4 cubes of ice
In a cocktail shaker or glass, add fresh basil leaves, blueberry syrup, juice of 1 lemon wedge and the lemon rind, and a pinch of sugar.
Use a muddler or the end of a spatula to mash all of the ingredient together so you get a nice blend of basil, lemon and blueberry syrup.
Add 1/2 cup tonic water and place the lid on the shaker and shake well or stir together.
Pour through a strainer into a cup with the ice and add additional tonic water.
Garnish with remaining lemon wedge.
