Almond Poppy Seed Chicken Salad

These almond poppy seed chicken salad sandwiches are creamy, crunchy, munchie and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 12.5 ounce can chicken or roughly 1 1/2 cups chopped chicken
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar - white apple cider, red wine or white wine vinegar's will all work
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
  • 2 stalks celery - diced
  • 1/2 apple - peeled cored and diced
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • Serve on bread of choice

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken, mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, black pepper, sugar, mustard, almonds, celery, apple and poppy seeds and mix well.
  • Serve on your favorite bread and enjoy.
