Chicken Parmigiana Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 6-7 chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 24 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Toss chicken tenders in flour, discard excess flour.
  • In a large oven proof pan, add butter, olive oil, and garlic and turn onto medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken tenders and lightly cook on each side for roughly 1 minute each side.
  • Add salt, water, spaghetti sauce, Parmesan cheese and stir.
  • Add noodles and stir again.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes.
  • Remove lid or covering and stir.
  • Add mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake for 10 more minutes uncovered.
  • Let cool slightly them serve and enjoy!
