Chicken Parmigiana Pasta Bake

This easy chicken parmigiana pasta bake is another one of my beloved Italian comfort foods that the whole family loves. It’s also super easy and doesn’t take a lot of time to make.

This chicken parmigiana pasta bake is cheesy, saucy, loaded with tender chicken and noodles. Serve it with a side salad and some garlic bread and it makes for a delicious dinner!

What you need to make chicken parmigiana pasta bake:

Serves 6

  • 6-7 chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons garlic – minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 24 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Toss chicken tenders in flour, discard excess flour.
  3. In a large oven proof pan, add butter, olive oil, and garlic and turn onto medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken tenders and lightly cook on each side for roughly 1 minute each side.
  5. Add salt, water, spaghetti sauce, Parmesan cheese and stir.
  6. Add noodles and stir again.
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove lid or covering and stir.
  9. Add mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 10 more minutes uncovered.
  11. Let cool slightly them serve and enjoy!

After baking for 30 minutes
Add cheese on top and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
When it’s done.
Chicken tenders are fork tender and easy to eat with the pasta.
