Strawberry Yogurt Cake

This cake is super moist, bursting with strawberry flavors and tastes so fresh and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 2 1/2 cups strawberry yogurt yo-plait works the best but any brand, non-Greek yogurt, will work
  • 1/4 cup Milk and water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • For the Frosting and topping:
  • 8 ounce container of cool whip - thawed
  • 1 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 2 cups chopped strawberries

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven o 350 F.
  • In a large bowl, add cake mix, strawberry yogurt, milk or water eggs and oil.
  • Whisk together until smooth.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until middle of cake is risen and toothpick comes out clean. (or at least the toothpick has no wet sticky batter on it, the crumb of the cake is slightly sticky)
  • Cool cake completely before frosting and topping.
  • To make the strawberry cream frosting, add the cool whip and strawberry yogurt together and gently fold until smooth.
  • Top the cooled cake with the frosting mixture, followed by fresh diced strawberries.
