Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup Butter - melted
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • dash Cardamom Optional
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash bananas, butter and sugar together.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  • In another bowl, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture as well as the milk and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a greased banana bread pan and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean.
