Healthier Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 1 cup apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter - melted
  • 1-1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup white or wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon on top

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add bananas and smash.
  • Add apple sauce and coconut sugar and blend together until smooth.
  • Add melted butter and stir.
  • Add almond flour, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking powder and baking soda and stir batter well.
  • Pour into a greased bread baking dish.
  • Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • Let cool mostly before slicing.
  • Enjoy!
