Shortcut Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Mayo any kind will work
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • sprinkle of cayenne pepper
  • Sprinkle of salt

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl add mayo. Heat for 15 seconds. The oil from the mayo will start to slightly separate but that is OK. Add in your egg yolk and stir. The mixture will be warm but the egg yolk will only cook slightly from the heat of the mayonnaise. Add the lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper. The lemon juice will help cure the egg slightly more. Serve!
