Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 4 ounces Sliced White Mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1/4 Cup Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 in Pound Green Beans - boiledwater for roughly 3 minutes then drained
  • 1 ounce Bacon Bites
  • 1/2 Cup French Fried Onions

Instructions

  • Boil or steam fresh green beans for roughly 3 minutes or until they are slightly cooked but still firm, drain liquid and set aside. In a pan, add butter, onion, white mushrooms, salt and pepper and stir until onions are translucent and start to brown. Add chicken stock and cream. Stir over medium high heat for 3 minutes and the sauce will begin to simmer. Add steamed and drained green beans and stir together. Empty pan into a baking dish and top with bacon bits and french fried onions. Bake for 20 minutes on a 375 F. oven.
