Orange vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 orange - juiced and zested
  • 1 green onion - the bottom white and light green portion - finely diced
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Zest and juice your orange and finely dice your green onion.
  • Add the white vinegar and sugar to a small sauce pan and bring mixture to a boil.
  • Turn heat off after 1 minute.
  • Add salt, pepper, orange zest, orange juice and olive oil and whisk well.
  • Let cool.
  • Whisk or shake well before using.
