Red Lentil Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups lentils - cooked split or whole lentils
  • 1/4 cup onion - diced
  • 1/4 cup green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Cook lentils and set aside.
  • In a pan, add onions and saute until they start to soften.
  • Add green chilies, chili powder, salt, cumin, onion powder and garlic powder and cooked lentils and stir until all ingredients are combined and warmed though.
  • Serve over your favorite tortillas with your favorite taco toppings.
