Apple Raspberry Freezer Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 -1/2 cups raspberries - crushed
  • 2 cups apple Juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 5-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 package Sure jell Pectin original - full sugar one
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Crush raspberries so the total amount of crushed raspberries is 1 1/2 cups.
  • Add apple juice, lemon juice and sugar and stir.
  • Let mixture sit for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. You want most of the sugar dissolved.
  • In a sauce pan, add sure jell and water and bring to boil for 1 minute.
  • Add to the Raspberries, and apple juice and stir well.
  • Spoon into prepared jars, leave about 1/2 inch space at the top for it to expand when frozen.
  • Let the jam sit on your counter for 1 day before freezing.
