Bacon Ranch Swiss Chard

Sautéed swiss chard with ranch and bacon seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 large leaves swiss chard - diced stems included, any variety, green rainbow, red
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Dash of onion powder
  • Dash of dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits - real bacon bits preferred
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, add olive oil, swiss chard and red onion to the skillet and sprinkle with the garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, onion powder and dried parsley.
  • Sauté for a few minutes then add the bacon bits to the skillet, followed by the ranch dressing and parmesan cheese.
  • Cook together until swiss chard is tender.
  • Serve and enjoy!
