Shortcut Focaccia Bread

Delicious focaccia bread made with premade pizza dough! Cuts down the bread making process to about 50 minutes prep to finish and is almost totally hands off.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound or 16 ounces premade pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil - more or less according to preference
  • Italian Herbs or herbs of choice - dried or fresh
  • Any toppings you love like:
  • olives
  • sundried tomatoes
  • cheese
  • onions
  • vegetables
  • peppers
  • roasted garlic
  • sprinkle of salt on top

Instructions

  • Warm your oven to around 100 degrees then shut if off.
  • Grease a 8 x 8 baking sheet, glass or metal.
  • Add your pizza dough and press out to fill the pan.
  • Cover the top of the pan with plastic wrap and place in warm oven for 30 minutes then remove from the oven.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 F. if using glass or 400 F for a metal pan.
  • Grease your fingers with olive oil or cooking spray and press down all over the dough to make holes.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top and into the holes.
  • Top with herbs and desired toppings.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until bread feels cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy!
