Shortcut Focaccia Bread

I love Focaccia bread and making it from scratch isn’t too hard, though it does take some time. So I created this shortcut focaccia bread recipe using premade pizza dough because it’s super easy and almost totally hands off. I say almost because you will still press down on the dough to form the holes to add your olive oil and toppings. Other than that, there is no kneading, minimal rising time and this delicious focaccia bread is done in about 50 minutes prep to finish! Which means, I can make it last minute with a meal!

This focaccia also has that delicious signature chew that focaccia bread has as well as the perfect rise and good dough flavor development. You can add whatever toppings you love on your focaccia to this bread, I will list some options below.

I love to use the Trader joes pre-made pizza dough for this but you can use any pre-made pizza dough and it should work perfectly. The same idea applies to no knead bread you may have hanging out in your refrigerator if you are a baker. My mom and sisters used to always have some hanging out in the refrigerator but I fully realize that isn’t normal so store bought pizza dough works great!
