Korean BBQ Pork Roast

Who else loves Korean BBQ flavors? I love this Korean BBQ pork roast recipe! It’s easy to make and tastes great! It uses gochajang which is a Korean chili and soy paste that can be found in most grocery store Asian food isles. I found my gochajang infused sea salt at a Kroger brand store. You can also find gochajang at any Asian market or on amazon.

I cook this roast on my pellet grill but it can also be cooked in the oven, on a grill or on a smoker.

What you need

makes ~2 pounds

Instructions

  1. Place pork roast on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet.
  2. Rub pork loin roast with gochajang paste and sprinkle with salt or if using gochajang infused salt, sprinkle the roast with it.
  3. Spread brown sugar all over roast.
  4. Pour Korean BBQ sauce all over the roast.
  5. Cook on a pellet grill, smoker, grill or in an oven at 350 F. for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until the internal temperature is between 145 F. (rare) to 165 F. (well done). Yes you can cook pork to rare now, this is the USDA recommended rare temperature for pork, I personally like mine closer to 160 -165 F.
