Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love the taste of tahini! Tahini has a slightly savory and deep flavor that plays so well when you bring it to the sweet side of cooking! The way the tahini (ground sesame seed butter) works with the chocolate chips in these tahini chocolate chip cookies is magical and gives these a unique flavor and of course an amazing texture! The almond flour also gives these an irresistible chewy texture!

I use almond flour in my recipe to cut the carbohydrates down (and give it that amazing texture) as well as stevia blended with sugar to lower the sugars in the cookie. However, you can use all regular sugar if desired. If you are making them lower in sugar the reason I use stevia and sugar together is because when blended the bitter after taste that comes from stevia disappears!
