Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

These chocolate chip cookie dough balls are the perfect delicious snack or dessert and you don’t have to worry about getting salmonella! Woohoo! This recipes is bulked up with almond flour so you won’t feel like you just filled up on straight flour, it gives it a little more substance without effecting the cookie dough texture or flavor at all.

My baby brother is a cookie dough junkie and he was visiting my house the last time I made these. He loved these and said he even liked these better than traditional cookie dough! That is a huge compliment coming from him, he knows his cookie dough!

You can use coconut sugar or brown sugar, coconut sugar has a low glycemic index and is a little more natural with the fiber in it, Brown sugar is a little sweeter and more traditional flavor. So it’s up to you, both will work great.

So here is what you need to make chocolate chip cookie dough balls:

Makes ~12 balls

  • 1/2 cup salted butter – softened
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Microwave flour for 30 seconds to ensure it won’t make you sick.
  2. Add butter, almond flour, flour, coconut or brown sugar, salt, powdered sugar and vanilla together and blend until a thick batter forms.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and then form into balls and enjoy!
