Sesame Brussels Sprouts

I love Brussels sprout and I love that you can buy them in the freezer isle and they cook in the microwave in 5 minutes! This sesame Brussels sprout recipe uses the steamed ones and it literally takes 10 minutes total to have caramelized delicious Brussels sprouts! You can also make this recipe with oven roasted ones to bring another layer of flavor to these. Both ways are delicious!

What you need to make sesame Brussels sprouts:

serves 2-3 people

  • 12 ounce bag of frozen Brussels sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • Sprinkle of salt

Instructions

  1. Microwave Brussels sprouts according to package directions.
  2. Add steamed Brussels sprouts to a pan along with butter, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey and salt.
  3. Turn heat to medium-high and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the Brussels start to caramelize.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
