Blueberry Compote

This blueberry compote couldn’t be easier to make! It’s sweet and tangy with chunks of juicy blueberries in it! It is perfect over pancakes, waffles, cheese cake, crepes, ice cream, yogurt and well, anything you can think of! This is a sauce you want in your repertoire for easy and delicious sauces!

This sauce can be made in two variations, one uses orange zest and orange juice and another uses lemon juice and lemon zest. They are both delicious just slightly different. The orange brings a little more orangey flavor to it and the lemon helps to highlight the blueberries more.

I love this compote over my fluffy Japanese pancakes! RECIPE HERE.
