Easy Pan Roasted Chicken

This easy pan roasted chicken is perfect if you want an easy, simple and delicious dinner. It’s made with ingredients most have on hand and it only takes about 20 minutes prep to finish to have a hearty meal on the table.

The chicken is seasoned with salt, black pepper and paprika then seared in a skillet, I love to use my cast iron skillet and I use a 12 inch one to fit all the chicken in. I then flip the chicken then I add the garlic and parsley so they don’t burn.

I love to serve this chicken with steamed vegetables, a side salad or some seasoned rice (here is a recipe for my easy instant pot seasoned rice recipe HERE).

What you need to make this easy pan roasted chicken:

Serves 5

  • 5 small chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic- minced
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Pound out chicken breast so they aren’t too thick and will easily cook through.
  2. Add butter and olive oil to skillet and heat up.
  3. Season chicken breasts on each side with salt, black pepper and paprika.
  4. Lay down chicken in hot skillet, reduce heat to medium and cook until about half way cooked through.
  5. Flip over chicken and add minced garlic to the pan and stir around the chicken, add dried parsley to the tops of the chicken.
  6. Finish cooking until chicken is cooked through, turning a few times to get all the juices and seasonings from the bottom of the pan onto the chicken.
  7. Remove from heat and enjoy.
