Winter Immunity Boosting Smoothie

I love this winter immunity boosting smoothie! It’s delicious and also packed with vitamins, antioxidants and good stuff. It uses seasonal fruits from the winter time, like blueberries, pomegranates and oranges.

It’s got loads of vitamin C in it, which is great in the fight to ward off a virus and give your body more strength to get through them if they hit.

It also has honey which functions in two capacities, one is to sweeten it and the second is the health properties of honey! I love to use a raw local honey. Added bonus is that It’s also great for when you do have a virus and need a throat smoothing smoothie. In fact, I made it for my sick son today and it’s great on the throat!

This smoothie is kid approved, meaning it tastes delicious. I know there are lots of immunity smoothies out there that my kids wouldn’t touch with a nine foot pole and I would be a little nervous about them too, I mean I love ginger and turmeric but putting a whole chunk of it into a blender and downing a shot isn’t my idea of a good time, you know what I mean? So, I wanted to create one my kids would enjoy and me too. My kids love this one!
