Balsamic Wedge Salad

I love a good wedge salad! They are cold, crisp and loaded with flavor! This balsamic wedge salad is loaded with apple, bacon, feta, and pecans. It’s crunchy, crisp and delicious. The balsamic dressing is super easy to mix together and just takes a drizzle to make your salad sing!

What you need to make balsamic wedge salad:

Serves 4-6 people

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce – cut in half then into 6 wedges
  • 1 apple – diced
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup bacon crumbles
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • For the balsamic dressing:
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

To make the dressing:

  1. In a small bowl, add balsamic vinegar, sugar and salt and stir well.
  2. Let it sit for a few minutes so the sugar dissolves.
  3. Whisk in olive oil.

For the salads:

  1. Rinse lettuce and remove outer leaves.
  2. Slice lettuce in half and remove the core and stem.
  3. Slice into 6 wedges.
  4. Top each wedge with diced apple, pecans, bacon crumbles and feta cheese.
  5. When ready to serve, drizzle tops with balsamic dressing.
